Direct Care Aide - Full-Time

Lifesteps is immediately hiring Direct Care Staff / Caregivers in the Slippery Rock, PA area!
Lifesteps, a local human services agency, is hiring compassionate and caring individuals to work with adults who have disabilities in a residential home environment in Slippery Rock, PA. Direct Care Staff / Caregivers assist clients with their daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, medications, and goal attainment plus staff assist clients with community outings and teaching social skills.
This position works evenings and overnights.
No experience necessary – we provide paid training for the role. - Experienced caregivers also welcome!
Lifesteps follows CDC guidelines to ensure that staff and individuals are as safe as possible.
During the COVID-19 Pandemic, Lifesteps takes precautions and supplies Personal Protective Equipment when necessary while following the Centers for Disease Control and the Pennsylvania Department of Health guidelines for a safe and healthy environment.
Position Requirements:

• 18 yrs or older
• Ability to lift 200 lbs with assistance
• Valid driver’s license/auto insurance
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required.
