JOB SUMMARY: The Digital Press Operator Trainee learns to print digital signs and banners to meet company expectations. Helps feed and/or catch sheets off a print line. Learns the functions and settings of a digital press, and, when needed, operates digital presses.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Train to become a Digital Press Operator
• Helping with preventative maintenance & basic repair on digital presses
• Loading or unloading various media on a print line
• Handling material in a manner that protects from damage (wrinkles, tears, creases etc.)
• Helps QC printed pieces throughout the run, alerting the press operator if needed
• Learns to documentation of time, material, and quality control
• Helps see complete jobs to the next level of production
• General housekeeping of press, tables and work area and compliance to 6S
• Operates a digital press on a temporary basis when the press operator is unavailable
• Using all cutting equipment safely and store utensils in a locked/closed position when not in use
• Following all company safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as per company standards
• Performing and completing all tasks assigned
