A day in the life…

The ideal Digital Operations Supervisor has strong leadership and prioritization skills with abilities to manage small to medium sized projects, oversee operational execution and implement process optimization.

  • The Digital Operations Supervisor will leverage merchandising principles, business expertise, organizational skills and e-commerce experience to create the best customer experience
  • Interview and hire an efficient and effective team ensuring consistent onboarding and support
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the team, to ensure timely and accurate validation, categorization and publishing of products to Nordstrom.com
  • Serve as a subject matter expert partnering with other team leaders on cross-functional projects
  • Responsible for optimizing both operational and technological efficiency as well as increasing employee productivity
  • Create and maintain positive working relationships with business partners through consistent communication, collaboration and follow-through to ensure alignment
  • Responsible for maintaining a strong understanding of all available systems and technology; resolving issues and providing requirements where necessary
  • Oversee the personal and professional development of the team by providing consistent coaching and feedback, including discussions of employees’ strengths, opportunities and recommended next steps
  • Review operating practices and procedures, determine whether improvements can be made and work to implement changes as appropriate

You own this if you have…

  • 5 years experience in fashion retail, ecommerce or a related degree
  • 2 years management and leadership experience supporting individuals and teams; Nordstrom management a plus.
  • Ability to build partnerships with peers and all levels of leadership
  • Proven understanding of business process analysis
  • Positive and enthusiastic with exceptional interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a team environment
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to maintain records & follow detailed procedures to ensure accuracy
  • Strong project management skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects ensuring all deadlines and priorities are met
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and ability to learn necessary software applications
