As a Digital Marketing Strategist, you will be responsible for developing mission-critical solutions to meet the clients’ brand objectives based on consumer insight and data. Having strategic expertise across all digital marketing channels and the ability to spot trends and technologies that play roles in consumer’s lives are essential to have in this position. The campaigns that you will manage will impact multiple aspects of the consumer experience, attract and engage consumers and maximize lifetime value at every stage of the consumer journey. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who is comfortable with ambiguity and enjoys learning and teaching as part of a dynamic team. We're looking to do ground-breaking work here and hopefully you are too.

This division is an early stage start-up team, a new business incubator within the client, that is focused on reimagining what is possible in food so consumers can live their best lives.

Responsibilities:

· Lead strategy and execution of SEO, email campaigns (both transactional and content marketing) and paid digital media (SEM, social) to drive acquisition & retention

· Optimize website and social media channels for SEO as well as usability

· Provide product managers driven insights to continually improve and optimize performance metrics and the consumer experience

· Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to align on digital roadmap and develop and optimize content marketing

· Build consumer acquisition and retention hypotheses, test them and iterate to optimize performance across the funnel (traffic, consideration, conversion, retention, revenue and profitability) using best in class KPI’s

· Develop, evaluate and oversee the implementation of A/B testing protocols and procedures

· Analyze data on marketing campaign performance and return on investment per channel; report on your findings, identify opportunities for improvement, and systemize the learnings

· Develop campaign playbook for repeated, systemized success as we expand

Requirements:

· 5+ years of experience in digital marketing

· Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communication Science or equivalent

· Broad knowledge of digital marketing best practices

· Deep understanding of online marketing channels and solutions: Display, Email, SEM/SEO, Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest), Google Marketing Platform (GMP) including Google Analytics

· Deep knowledge of email best practices and domestic CAN-SPAM laws

· Knowledge about best practices in web UX / UI

· Firm grasp of emerging digital tools and solutions

· Entrepreneurial in the truest sense: able to make things happen using resources that either don't exist or aren't under your direct control

· Unquenchable curiosity and desire to learn

· Excellent project management and communication skills

· Highly flexible, ability to handle changing directions/priorities as business needs evolve

· Detail oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

· Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills

· Experience working in CPG or ecommerce food business a plus

· Knowledge of Shopify and Klaviyo a plus

· Website development and graphic design experience a plus
