Job Description

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for the execution of paid digital marketing strategies. The candidate will be experienced in performance marketing with a strong understanding of search and social media channels, industry best practices and benchmarks. They will be passionate about digital trends and have a solid understanding of the social media landscape. Reporting to the President of the company, you will work closely with the marketing, sales, and operations in the organization.

This role is based in Fairfield, New Jersey and we are seeking a candidate from the Tri-State area. We are currently working remotely but will be returning to an office environment once permissible.

Global consumer goods marketing, manufacturing and distribution powerhouse Ontel Products Corporation is a leader in the As Seen on TV industry and the developer of some of your favorite everyday products such as Pillow Pets, Starbelly and Magic Tracks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Strong ability to manage all outside agencies. This includes an intimate working knowledge of Facebook and a working knowledge understanding of Tick Tok, Instagram, You Tube, Snapchat and Pinterest.

· Lead day to day communications with external digital marketing agency partners, manage & support digital agency of record, and vendor partners.

· Data-driven, detail oriented, and highly analytical thinker who can understand the balance between brand and commerce, with the proven ability to handle both strategy and tactical execution.

· Responsible for organizing and developing website marketing plans.

· Plan, develop and maintain digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, in game ads, and display advertising.

· Increase company brand awareness and conversion through full-funnel consumer marketing tactics; update and improve product listings, including creative and engaging content, and the ability to speak to key KPI’s like ROAS, CTR, CPO and MER to name a few.

· Build and execute innovative and impactful strategic marketing initiatives for the purpose of generating best-in-class consumer experience.

· Clear communication of digital marketing performance and progress against goals in a cross-functional setting.

· Possessing a strong knowledge of the eCommerce space including competitive strategies, marketing strategies, product development, consumer research, usability best practices and industry trends.

· Manage budget and forecasting to ensure we reach our targeted goals, maximize performance, while also thinking creatively about growth opportunities.

· Partner with Performance Marketing team to build a data-driven, test and learn program, as well as qualitative and quantitative analytics.

· Collaborate with Sales Team on digital best practices and optimize and grow brand presence (Amazon, Walmart.com, Target.com and more).

· Identify and cultivate relations with new vendors to maximize the business.

· Coordinate and manage responsibilities such as ensuring ads are displayed properly, tracking trends, recognizing nuances of the various platforms, as well as copywriting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Your experience:

  • Minimum of 5- 7 years of experience in Digital Marketing, preferably an eCommerce organization, working with Content Management, Deployment, Analytics, paid and organic search.
  • Proven ability to define marketing objectives, execute digital campaigns, and track and evaluate results.
  • Understanding of Content Management Concepts and Site Design.
  • Understanding of User Experience Concepts and A/B testing philosophy as well as an understanding of quantitative and qualitative measurement frameworks and KPIs for a branded eCommerce web site.
  • History of running effective paid marketing campaigns through Facebook and Google is required (experience with campaigns on Snapchat, Pinterest, and Twitter is a plus.)
  • Completion of Google Search Ads and basic Google Analytics Certifications is a plus.
  • Possesses a strong knowledge of the eCommerce space including competitive strategies, marketing strategies, product development, consumer research, usability best practices and industry trends.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
