Job Summary
The Deposit and Reconciliation Specialist compares funds collected to funds charged by the county to record documents and reconcile the recording ledger accordingly. This team member works to identify trends in discrepancies and pushes them upstream to improve pricing processes.
Responsibilities
- Research, identify and log recording pricing discrepancies
- Accurately reconcile orders per CFPB guidelines
- Review recording partner invoices for accuracy
- Communicate with internal and external partners regarding pricing issues
- Deposit checks, run list tapes and scan checks into banking software
- Assist with the tax holdback process
