Job Description

HII is seeking a Deployment Coordinator to work remotely, responsible for managing and executing all actions necessary to deploy contractor personnel to any contingency area. He/she processes deployment requests via Synchronized Predeployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT) system and creates Letters of Authorization (LOAs) and completes Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance System (APACS) entries. The Deployment Coordinator works with Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) requirements, regulations, and processes governing contract status in an AOR with DoD Contractor Personnel Office (DOCPER). He/she reviews Travel Authorization Requests (TARs) and Trip Reports for accuracy and compliance and supports development of Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) SOP, Relocation/Repatriation SOP and coordinates with finance on development of the Living Quarters (LQA) SOP, and Annual LQA Reconciliation Report. *CI *ML *EP *TE

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the on-boarding and deployment of OCONUS staff and interacts closely and continually with onboarding employees, PMO staff and Subcontractor teams to ensure completion of pre-deployment requirements.
  • Serves as a point of contact to analyze, modify, and resolve deployment / demobilization coordination.
  • Initiates, manages and tracks deployment processes to obtain overseas passport, visas, and work permits with employees
  • Works in partnership with external vendors that expedites visa, passport, company registration, authentication process, and purchase requests
  • Communicates point of entry requirements with subcontractors and employees who travel internationally and administers LOAs and country clearances.
  • Coordinates with Department of Defense (DOD) Contractor Personnel Office (DOCPERS) to ensure the Task Order is current, positions in host nations are authorized and that contractors working in Germany receive Technical Expert and Analytical Support Status Accreditation (TESA) status.
  • Ensures compliance with Foreign Clearance Guidelines and AOR requirements; adheres to pre-deployment requirements to meet the needs of the contract
  • Tracks and audits required trainings, medical expirations, visas, and passports. Coordinates with the Trusted Agent and the employee in order to process Common Access Cards (CAC).
  • Maintains listing of all personnel to support the Contractor Personnel List for Badging and Access.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
  • Experience in supporting deployment activities including TESA, SPOT, LOAs, etc
  • Must possess TS/SCI clearance
Preferred Requirements
  • Familiar with deployment actions to include developing, managing and executing SPOT, LOAs, APACS, SOFA, DOCPER and LQA SOPs.
Physical Requirements Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
