. Requirements:

Summary: The Dental Assistant Trainee supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assists the doctor in procedures
  • Assist in Prophylaxis cleaning of teeth
  • Instructs patients on oral hygiene
  • Charts cavities and teeth with doctor
  • Sterilizes instruments
  • Sets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment/hygiene
  • Charting of patient's treatment and treatment plan with doctor

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience: No experience required. We are willing to train and sponsor the required certifications.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic office equipment such as: computer, internet, email, copy machines, and telephone.
