Job posting: Dental Assistant - (Must have formal assisting training / degree)

- At Travis A Bell DDS PLLC we have an opening for an additional dental assistant team member who would like to find a long-term dental home.

- Our growing practice currently has two general dentist, 4 dental hygienist, 3 business team members and 4 dental assists.

- We are located in a state-of-the-art office conveniently located across the street from Wesley Long Hospital and just a few blocks from Friendly center.

- Our practice is seeking an organized, passionate, punctual professional who is interested in becoming a long-term team member of our dental assisting team.

- Ideal candidates will have the following

o Polished verbal skills

o Excellent ability to make patients feel at ease

o A proactive nature (seeing problems and addressing them without having to be asked)

o Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following

1) Candidates should be comfortable with all aspects of general dentistry

a. Fillings (Composite primarily)

b. Crown and bridge - we use the latest Cerec single visit technology

c. Dental implant placement and restoration

d. Root canals

e. Full and partial dentures

f. New patient exams

g. Sterilization

h. X-Rays

2) Experience with the following is a plus

a. CS: SoftDent computer software

b. Intra oral cameras

c. Experience placing dental implant is a plus.

d. CBCT / Pano

- Benefits

o Monday through Thursday work schedule

§ Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

· 7:45 am to 1pm, 1pm-2pm lunch, 2-5 pm

§ Thursday

· 7:00 am to 3 pm (No lunch = start your 3-day weekend early!)
