Dental Assistant

Our practice located in Dekalb is looking for motivated and vibrant people to fill our full-time and part-time Dental Assistant positions Dental Assistants are vital to our practice as they work collaboratively with providers to ensure dental procedures run smoothly and our patients remain comfortable. Our ideal candidate would thrive in a fast-paced environment and have excellent organizational skills.

Dental assisting experience is preferred but not required as we can provide training to interested candidates.

This position can turn into a Lead Dental Assistant position for the right candidate!

Responsibilities

  • Setting up operatory rooms for dental procedures
  • Organizing and laying out instruments for dentist's use
  • Handing instruments and other materials to dentists during procedures
  • Assisting during all dental procedures (Extractions, Implant placements, Crowns, and Root Canals)
  • Making patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
  • Sterilizes and disinfects instruments and equipment.
  • Prepares treatment rooms, instruments and tray setups for dental procedures.
  • Take diagnostic x-rays.
  • Assists the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures.
  • Records treatment information in patient records.
  • Assists with other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Coronal Polishing and Sealants Certification
  • Bilingual
