Job Description

Job Summary
As the Degree Audit Specialist, you will analyze, build, update, and maintain the degree audit and evaluation system. You will provide academic curriculum consulting and auditing, data and operational analysis, and system maintenance services to the Office of the Registrar and Purdue University colleges and departments. In addition, you will provide training and presentations to the campus community regarding the use and interpretation of the degree audit, course and curriculum, and reporting systems. Liaises with colleges and departments about curriculum process and articulation agreements and helps troubleshoot issues related to degree audit. Analyze, design, and document data integration procedures to extract and present management data from multiple sources in required format for end-users.
Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Two years of experience in data query software, file management, or data analysis and retrieval.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and provide analysis for user requirements and produce appropriate data for all operational functions.
  • Ability to develop, implement and monitor data processes and standards with strong analytical, logical and problem solving skills.
  • Attention to detail to ensure data accuracy.
  • Capability of making informed decisions regarding software use and changes to degree audit programs.
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and strong oral and written communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Documentation and statistical software experience.
  • Student system knowledge.
  • Degree audit tool software knowledge.
  • Experience with web-based network technology and internet-based data collections.
  • Experience with technology working remotely and/or in a hybrid status.
