Regional Deal Operations

Regional Deal Operations will partner with Sales Leadership and Account Executives to drive deals over the line. This role will report to the global head of Deal Operations and work closely with several parts of the business including Sales, Services, Compliance, Revenue Accounting, Legal, Pricing, etc. Major areas of focus include supporting sales in structuring complex, large deals and identification / analysis of over deployment situations.

Responsibilities:


Deal Crafting/Structuring

  • Being a trusted partner to the sales team, collaborating on deal structures, pricing, commercial terms, revenue recognition and legal
  • Negotiating with customers in large, complex, and difficult transactions
  • Supporting the sales organization in quoting and securing internal agreement on deal parameters
  • Comparing Customer contracts and their current deployments, to assess over deployment situations and leveraging them appropriately in sales cycles
  • Serving as an escalation point when needed to help move deals forward
  • Providing analysis around trends in customer requests and pricing
  • Training other stakeholders on deal structuring and negotiation best practices
  • Ensuring that crafted deals are done in line with the long-term objective of the company
  • Participating in the implementation of new deal-related processes across teams
  • Bring the primary liaison between multiple groups, such as Revenue Accounting, Sales Ops, Legal, Pricing to facilitate the deal process
  • Collaborating and sharing best practices across the globe.
  • Cultivating internal relationships with all levels of the sales organisation


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of sales and/or deal-desk experience in a top tier software company.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Works effectively in an unstructured environment with multiple competing deadlines.
  • Autonomous, always focused on doing what’s right for the business.
  • High energy and enthusiasm.
  • Willing and able to roll-up the sleeves to get things done.
  • Flexible to work extended hours during peak periods, especially end of financial periods.
  • Travel may be required.
