Shift: Shift 1

Work schedule: 4 days per week (8am-4:30pm). This position may possibly be located at the Froedtert West Bend Hospital.

Summary:
Coordinates and directs all administrative support functions for the Cancer Center survivorship program. Prepares survivorship plans by abstracting data from EPIC regarding patient treatment. Collaborates with nursing staff and schedulers to schedule survivorship visits. Monitors and tracks eligible patients and number of complete plans per program for compliance metrics. Other duties as assigned.


Responsibilities:

Two years of administrative experience is required. Previous Office Manager, Administrative Assistant or similar experience is preferred. Healthcare and scheduling experience is preferred. Minimum of five years of clerical experience is required to effectively perform job functions and organize workload. Associate degree in a health care related field is required. In lieu of degree, 5+ years of healthcare experience in roles such as a technician, data abstractor, administrative assistant and/or similar experiences would be accepted. Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Other information:


Knowledge of medical terminology. Professional written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills are very important. Ability to identify critical issues and exercise independent judgment. Demonstrated detail orientation with the ability to analyze, problem solve organize and manage multiple priorities. Excellent follow up skills a must. Proficiency, Microsoft Office and experience with EHR systems. Ability to work independently, but also know when to ask questions. Ability to multitask and handle large volumes of abstracted data; good time management skills; Critical thinking skills.
