Position Description
CGI, a top 5 global IT consulting company, is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Mid-Atlantic, Richmond Metro team. As a Data Analyst you will be working with business & technical stakeholders and will participate in systems design, data analysis, and interpretation of the analysis. Experience in financial services industry is a must. Experience working on cloud platforms (preferably Azure data analysis tools sets) required.

Your future duties and responsibilities
  • Analyze/interpret data requirements and perform current/target/gap/impact analyses.
  • Prepare documents such as technical requirements, data mapping, gap analysis, use case models and propose workflows, data flows, implementation plans and end user guides in accordance with standards and methodologies
  • Identify data anomalies and communicate back to the data stewards.
  • Support the creation and execution of the implementation plan for technical deliverables as well as provide production support.
  • Create release notes and appropriate communications around implementation.
  • Identify dependencies, milestones and support the Project/Program Manager in prioritizing tasks.
  • Provide consultation, recommendations and assistance to stakeholder on data matters.
  • Participate in all testing related activities

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
  • 3-5 years of systems & data analysis, reporting, data modeling & data visualization experience.
  • Understanding of various data schemas including structured and unstructured data.
  • Financial Services industry experience must. Investment banking experience preferred.
  • Experience working in cloud based data tools and services such as MS Azure is a must.
  • Experience with big data platforms.
  • Extensive experience proficiency in reporting and querying tools including such as PowerBI , MS Azure data tool sets.
  • Knowledge of various software development methodologies and the corresponding processes, activities, decisions and deliverables.
  • Experience with data aggregation, data visualization, business intelligence and data analytics required. Advanced SQL skills are required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail

Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $75,300K - $120K*
