We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the team as an experienced Data Analyst. This position requires a professional with the ability to learn current processes quickly and provide suggestions for streamlining workflow. The most successful candidate will have a passion for data and process improvement.
This is a remote position. California residency is preferred.
Position Description:
The Data Analyst will be a part of a nationally distributed, passionate, and dynamic team with a mission to build, innovate and operate a growing boutique financial advisory firm. This role reports to the Director of Operations and will be vital in extracting and manipulating data to improve operational efficiencies.
What You’ll Do :
You have a passion for data entry, analysis, and the ability to draw business insights that will add real value to BayBridge Capital Group. You will need to demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and work in a collaborative remote environment while communicating effectively with teams and individuals across BBCG - such as Advisors, Client Relationship Managers, etc.

A Day in the Life:
    • Assist with ongoing website maintenance
  • - Analyze website performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations to increase qualified traffic and to promote near- term strategic goals using data from Google Analytics
  • - Assist in designing, launching and maintaining analytics dashboard with clear, easy- to- understand reporting, to provide better business insights into our internal operations and Plan Sponsor experience
    • Communicate results in a clear and concise manner, with an understanding of data visualization and the importance of drawing accurate conclusions from multiple data sources
    • Build insightful, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends, identifies opportunities for improvement, and facilitates data driven decision-making.
    • Compile plan asset reports from vendor websites
    • Input plan value data for vendors that don’t have file feed
    • Execute performance reports for clients
    • Manage mutual fund watch list reports
    • Utilize and update CRM systems (RedTail, Fi360)
    • Extract and analyze data across multiple systems; defining data relationships and requirements to develop automated reporting and meaningful dashboards for everyday business use
    • Partner with technology groups and other third-parties to define business requirements, perform user acceptance testing, and implement complex changes
    • Learn and excel in the use of multiple technologies across various project
    • Participate in new release features, functionality reviews and testing to provide ongoing technical guidance and support
    • Develop new ways to measure and assess operational performance. Create, maintain, enhance, and support new and existing reports
    • Drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective collaboration with stakeholders
    • Develop and maintain procedures, process documents, training presentations, and other reference materials as assigned
What we need from you:
    • 2+ years of related industry (banking, finance, investments, wealth management) experience, preferred
    • 2+ years of relevant experience in data and analytics preferred
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • Detail orientated, quality-focused and data-centric
    • Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • MS Excel: advanced proficiency (Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, AutoFilter, and formulas)
    • Proficiency with Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
    • Basic knowledge of HTLM, Java, C#, .Net, Python, SQL, or similar programming languages, preferred
    • Experience using Google Analytics, MS Access, SQL, or other query tools preferred
