Data Analyst II, Performance Management

Responsible for measuring and assessing technician performance for Field Operations to include Field Services, Plant Maintenance and Comm Centers. Ensuring quality processes and programs are being utilized and are effective by developing performance measurements and communicating performance relative to standards. Improve and automate existing performance management processes in the first 6 months; ongoing administration of incentive pay and performance programs. Long-term opportunities to assist with strategic labor forecast modeling for Field Operations.

  • Works with corporate field service leadership to develop and administer incentive programs and employee KPI scorecards
  • Models the effectiveness of incentive programs, provides insight for future budget input and makes recommendations that aligns with company objectives
  • Coordinates with Payroll to ensure that workgroups receive incentive payments in a timely manner
  • Monitors underlying data for anomalies or inconsistencies, troubleshoots data integrity issues, develops cleanup strategies and coordinates efforts with stakeholders
  • Performs data mining and data integration from various sources to generate reports on technician performance and ad-hoc requests
  • Supports the development, data validation and user acceptance testing of our new performance management tool as we move towards production
  • Partners with our sales organization to track and report on field operations technician sales commissions
  • Documents methods and procedures within our group to support standardization and cross-training
  • Serves as contact for Field Operations regional leadership and maintains an acceptable SLA on data/research UET ticket requests
  • Presents actionable data-driven insights to field service leadership
  • Leverages historical data and statistical modeling to assist in developing a labor strategy that aligns with company goals
Qualifications:

Minimum

  • Generally 2-5 years of experience in data analytics , IT, ACOE or related field
  • Advanced Excel experience (Visual Basics, macros, data manipulation)
  • Proven experience with report creation and ad-hoc analysis with a high attention to detail
  • Expertise with large data sets, analytical techniques and data modeling
  • Experience presenting results and solutions to organizational leaders
  • Demonstrated ability to provide reliable support to field service leadership
  • Ability to perform tasks and submit data within defined timelines

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
  • Previous experience with providing analytical support to performance programs or employee scorecards
  • Experience writing and executing queries of enterprise databases via SQL coding
  • Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Experience with report automation tools such as Alteryx
  • Previous experience with data engineering
