Position Summary

Centerline is looking for a DAS Construction Manager to lead multiple fast paced telecommunication construction projects along the East Coast. The Construction Manager is responsible for deploying, coordinating and managing the successful implementation of DAS Construction projects. The ideal candidate will show high energy, be focused, result-orientated and be a highly self-driven individual with an unequal work ethic and organizational skills. You will work with an existing team of project managers, technicians, and subcontractors. All data for projects will be managed on a cloud-based platform that allows key stakeholders real time access to information.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be the point of contact for direct customer and client interaction.
  • Develop, build, and maintain business relationships with customers.
  • Coordinate work with internal construction team
    • Attend site walks with construction team and sub-contractors as requested by customers.
    • Develop scope of work with both internal teams and subcontractors based on site walks and experience of sites
    • Work with project manager and other member of construction team to ensure all scope has been captured in sub-contractors’ bids and bids to be submitted to customers.
    • Continue to work with internal team throughout project to mitigate any issues that may arise and to expedite answers to questions.
    • Ensure all customer required documentation has been gathered and all customer specifications have been met prior to final submittal
    • Ensure all customer required documentation is submitted within the milestone dates provided to the customer for the project.
  • Provide technical guidance to project
  • Work onsite daily with internal construction team and sub-contractors to ensure adequate understanding of scope of work and customer requirements for project
  • Support sub-contractors in any way possible to expedite construction process and mitigate questions or concerns that may arise from construction before they impact timelines or milestones
  • Conduct daily inspections of field work to ensure that completed work is done up to customers specifications. Notify internal team or sub-contractor of work not meeting or exceeding customer requirements
  • Update daily internal and external progress reports as required to ensure accurate project tracking can take place
  • Responsible for gathering all documentation, organizing documents, finalizing close out documentation and notifying customers on completed documentation within required timelines
  • Work closely with Department Heads to ensure projects are being completed on-time, on budget and within customer requirements and specifications
  • Work closely with customer and venues to handle escalations in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage performance of internal team and provide support as needed throughout the duration of the project.
  • Attend in person and teleconference meetings as needed with internal and client teams.
  • Coordinate activities with construction team and department heads to ensure implementation of the program according to the company methodology, processes and schedule.
  • Accountable for project optimization and working with the construction team to manage and complete projects in the most efficient way.
  • Daily communication of program status, progress and risks to key stakeholders.
  • Proactive follow-up of program activities and projects with respective virtual program teams, ensuring deliverables are accomplished.
  • Attend or lead in person or virtual operation meetings monthly to institute new processes and procedures that arise and address questions or concerns of the team.
  • Attend daily team calls to report on project progress and proactively address issues or concerns.
  • Lead the team in a positive and professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction remains our teams’ number 1 goal.
  • Train technicians and sub-contractors utilizing industry experience and customer expectations to maintain and exceed quality of work expected on each project.
  • Demonstrate value to the company and our customers.

Required Education and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in DAS construction and wireless industry
  • Highly driven, self-motivated.

  • Experience leading interdisciplinary teams.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time non-exempt position.
