Job Description

We are currently hiring a Senior Technical Editor to write/edit documents and deliverables for a cybersecurity related organization. Our team is helping to secure and protect the Nation’s critical infrastructure resilience, so come join us in our largest cybersecurity and resilience communications, digital and creative efforts to date.

What you will do:

  • Independently manage all project-related documentation.

  • Assist with the authoring, proofing and quality control of project documentation, operational procedures, technical reports, research publications and presentations.

  • Review documentation and publications for content, grammar, syntax, and formatting.

  • Interview subject matter experts on cybersecurity related topics to help build print and online content.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree

  • Experience reviewing and editing work products written by other team members.

  • Excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.

  • Mastery of English grammar, sentences syntax and formatting.

  • Mastery of Microsoft Office products including Word and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to apply knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, policies, and procedures.

  • U.S. Citizenship required (required by federal government for position). SCI required.

What would be nice to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.

  • Experience in the federal government sector.

  • Display a high degree of initiative and ability to lead others in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Customer service orientation with strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
