Cyber Analyst 3

General Summary:
Performs system monitoring and analysis support for the detection of cyber incidents and provides recommendations on how to correct findings.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions):

• Analyze network data to include packet capture analysis, network flow analysis.

• Conducts risk assessments and provides recommendations for application design.

• Assists and may perform a wide range of Cyber security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access and reviews and recommends changes.

• Familiar with encryption technology, penetration and vulnerability analysis of various security technologies, and information technology security research.

• May interface with external entities (e.g. law enforcement, intelligence/government agencies, etc.)

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or a Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of cyber and/or IT experience.
• Candidate must possess IAT Level 2 certification
• Candidate must possess CSSP Analyst certification
• US Citizenship Required; Active Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cyber incident handling experience
• Experience with Interrogator tool
• Candidate must possess ACAS and HBSS experience
