Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management (PWM) specializes in creating comprehensive wealth management plans for high net worth individuals and families, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. PWM Teams work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies drawn from our deep investment experience, diverse wealth management capabilities and global reach. Our Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of Goldman Sachs and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services. As client needs evolve, this close relationship allows the team to offer complementary services and new opportunities by leveraging the resources of Goldman Sachs and beyondRESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:THE ROLE: YOUR IMPACTYou have a strong ambition to deliver world-class user experiences and working on a multi-disciplinary team to bring them to life, contributing to the the creative future of our products. You seek out ambitious and talented designers to grow and hone your skills to ship game-changing products with our product managers and technologists, while focusing on skill-building, pushing the boundaries of design, collaboration and growth. As a creative and designer, you’ll understand the needs of users and reframe them into delightful experiences for our customers, with a keen attention to detail and insatiable curiosity. You aren’t afraid to dig into the details, ask questions, and experiment until you can bring a solution to life.
You should have either experience or formal education in user-centered interface design, visual design, or experience designing product that launched into the world (web, mobile, app, email, and informing advertising, out of home, web, print, DM, and/or social). You understand the core tenants of good design and are well versed in design vocabulary as you continue grow your skills and learn from those around you. You have a growing understanding visual identity, style, and design systems, bring a curiosity for industry best practices, the ability to hunt down the latest advancements in trends, emerging patterns, and articulate their applicability to our products. You work best when you are working with a team on cracking complex problems and crafting them into elegantly simple, intuitive designs with an eye for the detail.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1+ year of professional experience designing digital products and a design degree (3+ years of experience preferred without formal design education)
  • Multiplatform consumer product design experience
  • Experience in design thinking/ human centered design
  • Collaborate and clearly communicate with peers in and out of the discipline
  • Strong ability to follow direction and work within a defined design system and style
  • Strong graphic sensibility
  • Creative concepting
  • Experience working in agile framework or on a collaborative team
  • Ability to constructively critique design
  • Passionate about solving customer problems
  • Experience providing design rationale and communicating intent
  • Strong problem-solving and organization skills
  • A positive, constructive can-do attitude
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • An obsession with digital trends and design
