Job Description

    Do you have a passion for customer care and a flair for understanding the needs and motivations of people? If so, we want you on your team! As a Customer Service Specialist, you'll work to inspire customer loyalty and significantly enhance the overall customer experience.

    A local Farmers Agency Owner is currently seeking a talented, caring professional to join their Agency Team where you'll play an important role in the success of the Agency. In partnership with the Agency Owner, you'll set strategy and initiate best practices for customer contact and, using a consultative approach, identify additional opportunities to serve. You'll also use your analytical skills to monitor and measure the overall effectiveness of Agency Loyalty Inititives and customer satisfaction efforts with the goal of continuiously strengthening and enhancing customer relationships.


    Responsibilities
    • Generate sales leads Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
    • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
    • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
    • Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas
    • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
    • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
    • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
    • Take the extra mile to engage customers

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as an Insurance Sales Representative
    • Good comprehension of insurance plans including automobile, fire, life, property, medical etc.
    • Ability to work with computers and understand and interpret standard statistical findings
    • Goal-oriented
    • Excellent skills in communication and presentation
    • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and in creating long-lasting relationships
    • Proven customer support experience or experience as a Client Service Representative
    • Track record of over-achieving quota
    • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
    • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
    • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
    • Must be Property & Casualty Licensed prior to appointment/on-boarding
