Job Description

***WE CAN PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION FROM LAWRENCE***

$500 SIGNING BONUS after working for 3 months

Sanitation (Food Manufacturing)

Shift:

  • Monday - Friday (Occasional Saturdays)
  • 4PM - Finish (finish is anywhere between 12AM and 3AM)

Rate

  • $17.50 / hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use water, chemicals, and sanitizer to clean and sanitize equipment and production rooms daily.
  • Detailed sanitation and up-keep of the facility along with ensuring that all processing equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized to establish standards to process food products
  • Sweep and squeegee floors
  • Clean equipment and machinery
  • Carries out the day to day cleaning and duties of the sanitation department.
  • Identify and report food safety and food quality issues
  • Follow all OSHA safety guidelines required by company
  • Comply with GMP and Food safety guidelines
  • Perform all other tasks as requested by plant/floor supervision
  • Work within a cold and wet environment and wear specified company provided protective gear at all times

Skills:

  • All job duties are hands on and are completed at a quick pace working around water and cleaning materials. The job duty requires frequent climbing, bending, pulling, and lifting which includes high pressure hoses. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Must be okay with working weekends and overtime. Must comply with all established safety procedures along with OSHA rules and regulations. The work environment and physical demands described here are representative of those required by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodations. The work environment includes working in a cold warehouse.
