Essential Job Functions: 1. Maintains databases and dashboards to support the department’s planning needs, goals, and objectives.
2. Partners with NSU’s Institutional Effectiveness and Office of Innovation and Information Technology (OIIT) to understand and master use of University databases and work collaboratively with other database owners and managers.
3. Provides basic business data interpretation, such as identifying trends or patterns of data sets.
4. Analyzes and exports information in reports to support the department's planning, needs, goals, and objectives.
5. Analyzes data to ensure accuracy and reports any issues to management.
6. Troubleshoots challenges and develops solutions to ensure consistent data reporting within the NSU CRM, databases and web analytics.
7. Partners with external agencies to compare and integrate their dashboard data with NSU’s CRM data to report accurate Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS) and Return on Investment (ROI) results.
8. Builds custom queries for report generation within the CRM.
9. Builds inquiry forms that feed onto websites.
10. Navigates consistency among the course naming from the CRM to Banner to the digital campaigns to ensure accurate reporting and integration.
11. Manages, updates and monitors the University’s web-based Degree Finder tool as well as other web-based inquiry and application forms and acquisition functions and activity.
12. Oversees and recommends data operational activities, including managing implementation, processes, trainings, and procedures of CRMs. Applies technical expertise to support functionality of and develop solutions for the CRM systems, reporting and analysis of CRM data.
13. Ensures consistent and timely support for all functions throughout all admissions cycles, including prospect management, application review and verification, outreach support and tracking. Leads and leverages the expertise of admissions staff, technology partners, and third-party vendors to ensure that applicant information at all stages of enrollment funnels is captured and managed strategically and in support of meeting enrollment goals.
14. Collaborates with functional leads and stakeholders to develop and refine processes and CRM functionalities, such as electronic correspondence with prospective students, parents, educational partners, and professionals.
15. Develops, launches, and updates communications tracking methodologies using multi-channel outreach as needed for effective, competitive recruiting.
16. Designs, tests, formats, quality assures, and analyzes standard, customized, and ad hoc management reports for leadership to support emerging initiatives.
17. Assists with analysis of data and statistics and with projections.
18. Serves as the go-to team member when data is needed to support different marketing initiatives.
19. Develops good internal relationships with account executives/marketing managers to understand service lines and how data can support initiatives.
20. Acts as a subject matter expert for assigned system(s).
21. May act as project leader for assigned project(s).
22. Identifies and evaluates industry trends in database systems to serve as a source of information and advice for senior management.
23. Reviews project plans to plan and coordinate project activity.
24. Develops and implements processes and reports to audit data quality, ensure accuracy, and increase productivity.
25. Ensures compliance with University and departmental policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:
Required Certifications/Licensures:
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Major (if required): Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
Required Experience: 1. Four (4) for more years of related programming and data analysis experience in higher education administration or comparable field of work.
2. Experience with general systems administration, database administration, and integration.
3. Experience using HTML, SQL, CSS and other front-end web design frameworks and languages, etc.
4. Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with developers, designers, copywriters, and staff.
5. Proven work experience and ability to generate results. Considerable knowledge of the principles and practices of accomplishing goals through others and the ability to apply these principles in a business setting.
6. Demonstrated ability to produce web, digital communications, and analytics to help managers drive business decisions and positively influence traffic toward university websites and campaigns.
7. Proficient in CRM platforms and industry best practices governing e-mail and digital communications.
8. Working knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
9. Proficient in Mac and PC Platforms.
10. Excellent project management skills and organizational ability.

Preferred Qualifications: 1. Master’s Degree
2. Experience working with NSU databases and CRM (Recruit)
3. Knowledge of Recruit, Banner, Google Analytics and other NSU-specific database systems is preferred.
4. Strong knowledge Bootstrap is strongly preferred.
