The selected candidate will be a key leader for a Defense Agency project providing technical leadership, direction, and management to the contract workforce performing a Counter-Insider Threat (C-InT) task. Directly support the Contract Program Manager (CPM) with managerial and business aspects relevant to the CInT requirements.   Leads a team that collects, analyzes, synchronizes, and assesses data gathered from multiple sources including Law Enforcement, Behavioral Science, Human Resources, Counterintelligence, Cybersecurity and Security to detect and mitigate insider threats of violence, espionage, terrorism and unauthorized disclosures of national defense information affecting the MDA’s people, resources and capabilities.
• Manages and directs a team in multiple geographic locations: Fort Belvoir, VA; Huntsville, AL; and Colorado Springs, CO.

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS in related field such as criminal justice, intelligence or security studies required.
• Must have 15 years of Project Management experience, five of which must involve overseeing Counter-Insider Threat (C-InT) tasks and functions.
• TS/SCI with Poly required
• Must be proficient in standards, principles, practices, and processes related to CInT support for Defense or Intelligence Agencies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Security Information and Event Management Software(SIEMS); experience with User Activity Monitoring desired;
• Experience managing and providing the full range of insider threat identification, investigation, mitigation and closure for a mid-sized Defense Agency (10,000+ personnel).
• Counter-Intelligence (CI) trained and certified to Under Secretary of Defense/Intelligence (USD/I) approved standards pursuant to DoD Directive 5240.02 is preferred.
