Job Duties and Responsibilities
We are looking for a Corporate Travel Manager to join our HR Operations & Travel Team. The responsibilities will fall under the following categories:

  • Create strategic policies and programs for DISH travel program
  • Manage a team of in-house travel agents; delegate work assignments.
  • Ensure all travel arrangements and operations are confirmed for all travelers.
  • Assist with travel issues, including after-hours issues.
  • Resolve any problems with travel or accommodations by using protocol and communicating with all relevant parties.
  • Negotiate all air, hotel, parking and car rental contracts and monitor compliance.
  • Manage travel & expense policy
  • Manage vendor relationships, including travel management company.
  • Manage travel related escalations as needed in support of the team
  • Prepare periodic travel reports.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to travelers.
  • Responsible for hiring, performance appraisals, terminations, and other related human resource activities.
  • Manage credit card programs, charges, and reimbursements.
  • Maintains travel industry knowledge and conducts research to ensure appropriate customer service and problem solving.
  • Partner with key stakeholders (e.g. event planning, etc.) to help execute company strategy and support strategic initiatives
  • Continuous improvement for the travel program.

Skills, Experience and Requirements
A successful Corporate Travel Manager will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; and 5 years of experience in managing a corporate travel program; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge in Concur Travel system, Galileo and/or Sabre
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Experience supporting an enterprise travel program
  • Demonstrated partnership skills with key stakeholders

Salary Range

Compensation: $80,000.00/Year - $110,000.00/Year
