Job Description

As the Corporate Marketing Strategy and Programs Lead, you will be assessing market trends, quantifying opportunities and developing marketing programs. Field Marketing at Dell Technologies is at the forefront of customer engagement. you will be responsible for a specific location, department or product. Our teams drive marcom strategy – from making budget recommendations to defining roadmaps and informing content themes. You will be interacting directly with customers and utilizing third-party customer data, that provide Dell’s product marketing and messaging team with game-changing feedback. At the highest level, they develop and drive marketing policies and activities, from market research through brand management and product development to pricing.

What you’ll achieve

As the Corporate Marketing Strategy and Programs Lead, North America you will lead the development and execution of the go-to-market field marketing strategies to support specific business units and sales growth initiatives, localizing and adapting global content and programs that achieve sales demand. You'll determine the most effective segment or vertical marketing tools and drive usage to improve sales efficiency, providing roadmaps and training on key initiatives, industry trends and partner solutions.


You will:

  • Work with cross-functional field marketing teams, Center of Excellence (CoC) leaders, Business Unit leaders, Commercial Marketing Teams (Marcom, Campaign, CRM, etc.) and Sales business leaders to develop and execute marketing strategies that will grow Dell Technologies’ buyer base and deliver BU’s goals

  • Provide inputs into National events engagement strategy, including recommending events, budget allocation and proposed themes

  • Proactively identify gapped areas within the Commercial Tier One/ACQ business and develop/promote programs and tools to close business gaps

  • Deliver innovative, pilot marketing programs and events to support specific growth initiatives with new and existing customers

  • Gather and action feedback through multiple channels, including direct customer and sales interaction to develop marketing strategy

  • Ensures that sales and marketing teams understand the Corporate Marketing Strategy and can fully utilize tools to enhance sales and marketing activities

  • Be the voice of Field Marketing in Executive forums

Essential Requirements

  • 10 to 12 years of experience in marketing, field marketing or other relevant marketing roles

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience activating 360 marketing campaigns spanning digital, radio, PR, in-store, etc.

  • Ability to work on own — a self-starter with a high sense of urgency and entrepreneurial spirit

  • Strong management and relationship skills and high ability to influence in a matrix environment

  • Exceptional project and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail and capability to juggle multiple programs


Desirable Requirements

  • Strategic business experience and approach are strongly desirable

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience speaking/presenting to stakeholders
