Job Description

Job Title: Coordinator of Student Communications & Marketing

Primary Location: Morristown Campus

Job Purpose: The overall purpose of this job is to develop marketing and communications materials, content and strategies in support of the college’s enrollment, student success and retention efforts. This position serves as a liaison with the College’s Office of Student Services.

Essential Job Functions:

  • In collaboration with the Office of Student Services, manages the creative and strategic design and development of student marketing and recruitment materials and media, such as publications, emails, direct mail, videos, texts, and social media.
  • Working with the Communications and Marketing team, ensures consistency in unified branding and messaging in student-related marketing materials and student communications.
  • Assists in the design of materials and media promoting student events and outreach programs, such as plays, concerts, and cultural events.
  • Writes content for multiple audiences and collateral, including website, email, and publications.
  • Assists with the production of other Communications and Marketing creative projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Leadership & Supervisory: Plan projects, coordinate scheduling, and prepare status updates as needed.

Qualifying Standards:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Marketing, English or a related degree.
  • Over 3 years of related experience.
  • Working knowledge of standard office equipment (PC, phone, fax, email, copier, etc.), graphic design software (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat and Photoshop) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of graphic design, advertising and marketing concepts.
  • Knowledge of branding.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Environment & Working Conditions: Office environment is temperature controlled with occasional fluctuations. May be exposed to varying conditions when traveling to various work locations.

  • Ability to travel by motor vehicle.
