This is a new role on our growing legal team. We are seeking a talented, highly motivated, team player to serve at an individual contributor level supporting Americas sales for OutSystems. This is a great opportunity to work at a high-growth company in an exciting, fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position, and while we do have an office in Boston for those who want to have the flexibility to come to an office, we are definitely open to remote candidates. This role will report to the Global Commercial Team Lead. Responsibilities:
  • Support the legal and internal sales teams in reviewing, negotiating, executing and maintaining standard contractual agreements including but not limited to NDAs, MSAs,evaluation agreements, and DPAs
  • Collaborate with finance, deal desk, product management, support, security and other business units for approval of contractual terms and conditions on specific areas of expertise that adequately protect the company’s interests
  • Be a trusted business partner, responding in a timely and productive manner to requests
  • from internal customers
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of legal department policies, processes and templates and be a collaborative member of small, collegial department
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Three+ years of transactional, hands-on experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, ideally at an enterprise software company
  • Excellent negotiating and influencing skills and a talent for non-confrontational, win-win negotiations
  • Desire for close collaboration with sales and sales support to close deals efficiently, with apractical approach
  • Self-starter able to work in a very fast paced, changing environment with ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
  • Good communication skills and an ability to engage effectively
  • Ability and confidence necessary to work independently and across multiple functions
  • Proficient drafting skills, with keen attention to detail and pride in a quality work product
  • Experience working with DocuSign, Salesforce and CLM systems
