Join CACI as an Accounting Close-Out Specialist within the Contracts Team located in our Shared Services Center in Oklahoma City. You will work with other dynamic business units such as Project Managers, Finance, Accounting, etc. You will work in tandem with these collaborative teams toward the same goal: CACI's ability to provide solutions and services in support of national security missions and government transformation for Intelligence, Defense, and Federal Civilian Customers.


More About the Role:

The successful Accounting Close-Out Analyst will utilize a variety of administrative accounting functions essential to the closing of CPFF, T&M and/or FFP Federal contracts. Those functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Working in a fast-paced environment with monthly close-out goals to efficiently and effectively eliminate the contract close-out backlog.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports of close-out activities.
  • Verify that all invoices have been submitted and paid before closing an order- confirming, verifying and coordinating close-out activity daily on minor to complex invoices.
  • Reconcile contract funding obligations and expenditures with final voucher amounts to determine de-obligated amounts and resolve related issues.
  • Use strong financial/analytical skills with a required understanding of “Backlog”, “Revenue”, and “Billed Versus Paid”.
  • Knowledge of provisional billing or rate adjustments billing.
  • Work with other internal and external stakeholders to obtain concurrence for close-out.
  • Review, prepare and submit close-out documents.
  • Process accurate Quick Close-Outs.
  • Handle difficult to complex problems through effective and efficient resolutions compliant with Federal acquisition regulations and policies.
  • May be asked to review Close-Out Policies and provide recommendations to increase close-out efficiency and effectiveness.
  • May manage projects and processes.
  • May be asked to coach and review the work of lower level employees.
  • Utilize appropriate applications to ensure proper close-out of orders.
  • Must be able to complete close-out files and accurately document close-out contracts and records.
  • Other duties as assigned.


You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

1 - 3 years of directly related experience in Government Accounting and/or Contract Closeout.

  • Knowledge of government accounting and contract types: CPFF, FFP, T&M.
  • Experience working in Costpoint.



These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Knowledge of contract close-out procedures and techniques commonly used to carry out recurring assignments and perform developmental assignments. May also include segments of contract close-out actions.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a comparative level of education and/or job experience.
