Develop solutions for supported applications within the department using tools such as .NET framework, SQL Server, and API. Serve as data integration specialist managing data import, export and automation for existing and new processes. Apply advanced technology and tools in the development of solutions for complex problems for application systems. Responsibilities include design, development, testing and maintenance of enterprise applications using Microsoft .NET and SQL technologies.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Program, code and test application programs using HCA ITG programming standards /conventions. Participate in requirements definition and perform analysis of business requirements into design specifications for system development. Work with other support developers, LSAs, DBAs, network engineers, security, vendors, etc. as required to determine integration requirements between systems and vendor applications. Establish technical standards and control technical design of application requirements Provide technical and software support to customer efforts and provide on call problem resolution for production problems as required Serve as technical advisor to oversee and evaluate development initiatives across various platforms within the department. Manage development and performance of unit test plans for application testing. Collaborate with the appropriate process teams for QA and user acceptance testing of application changes. Utilize change management processes for implementation and support of supported applications. Partner with security personnel to ensure application data is protected according to standards. Strong analytics, problem solving and communication skills working with other technical teams within the organization to ensure supported applications meet the business needs and HCA standards. Ability to multi-task and handle various assignments, assisting management in prioritization of tasks. This includes working on multiple projects at a time with different specialties and business owners. Work with projects at different phases – implementation, vendor analysis, support, etc. Take ownership of responsibilities, working individually or with teams to accomplish tasks/goals. This includes driving tasks to completion, reporting status and escalating issues as needed. Work with customers to ensure project dates are met and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Bachelor's degree Computer Science Preferred

7+ years’ work experience Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Microsoft .NET Framework SQL Server, including SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, ODBC API - SOAP, REST HTML/CSS Javascript Java TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, SSH Light travel may be needed
