Job Description
Overview:PRIMARY FUNCTION/RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:Maintains a collection of USAF originated Configuration Items (CIs) for the JINTACCS process that are not otherwise configuration managed in the Joint catalogue.
Manage and ensure custodial catalogue of TDL, USMTF, Symbols, and XML documents, electronic documents, software, algorithms, as identified by the Government.
Maintain and update the ACC/A5JI Configuration Management plan. Ensure all applicable AF proprietary messages, MIL STDs, STANAGs, ATDLPs, APP, etc (including previous versions as available) are listed and accounted for in the collection with their physical location (including unclassified and classified materials).
Maintain an organized electronic collection (unclassified and classified) of official USAF copies AF proprietary messages, MIL STDs, STANAGs, ATDLPs, APP, etc (including previous versions as available).
Track branch assignments and suspense dates for the Global Information Grid (GIG) Technical Guidance Federation online tool to ensure all AF platform/systems Information Support Plans (ISP) are reviewed.
Research and gather information to develop Background Papers, staff studies, Talking Papers, or presentation materials as assigned by the Government.
Track the progress of emerging, mandated, and retired MIL-STDs applicable to the branch, in ASSIST and Defense Information DISR after approval at appropriate JINTACCS forum. Configure and maintain sharepoint pages to support distributed work.).
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s degree is required.
  • Expert in managing government sharepoint sites such as intelink in order to configure settings and create interactive capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • At least five (5) years’ experience in a military organization.
  • At least five (5) years’ experience working with Department of Defense security concepts and procedures.
  • At least five (5) years recent experience (performed within the last 10 years) using commercially available tools: Microsoft Office products (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.)
