Job Description
Peraton is seeking a Configuration Management Database Engineer/Developer to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. The qualified applicant will become part of Department of State (DOS) Consular Affairs Enterprise Infrastructure Operations (CAEIO) Program, for the Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA). This initiative is intended to provide IT Operations and Maintenance to modernize the legacy networks, applications, and databases supporting CA services globally.

The Configuration Management Database Engineer/Developer will be a member of the CA/CST CAEIO Enterprise Operations Team, responsible for working closely with CAEIO contractors, DOS leadership and business stakeholders to monitor performance, faults and security service delivery and solutions to automating IT enterprise monitoring services and related business processes.

Responsibilities:
Work independently with leadership, stakeholders, and engineers across the organization to design, develop, and maintain an Enterprise Configuration Management Database starting with server infrastructure. Database should automatically populate wit information from existing enterprise tool sets whenever possible. Enterprise tools include: Zabbix, AppDynamics, Splunk, VMWare, Ansible, Satellite, Puppet, Dell EMC SRM, MS Active Director, and others.
Support Engineering and Monitoring Team with exceptional written and verbal communication skills and wide-ranging experience in infrastructure and systems full lifecycle management, to include: Windows and Linux Virtual Machines (VMs), Networking components, physical servers, SQL Server and Oracle databases, Virtual infrastructure, and a variety of SAN style storage
Work in a fast-paced operational environment where priorities shift often.
Ability to innovate unique and extraordinary solutions with available tools.
Ability to overcome logistical barriers and successfully delivered customer requirements.
Performance is measured by ability to troubleshoot, effectively communicate to enlist the help of others, and make an immediate, impactful difference in quantification of the enterprise.

Basic Qualifications:
US Citizenship and an active SECRET Government Security Clearance with the ability to obtain TOP SECRET if needed.
COTS integration, development, and engineering, and administration
Full stack developer, any compiled programming language, Rest API, XML/HTML, JSON, Apache, IIS, Batch Scripting, Shell, Python and Python Libraries, CURL, PowerShell, SQL, ability to quickly learn other technologies within a month’s time
System Design and Full Lifecycle Management
Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:
C, C++, C#, Ajax, SOAP
Splunk SPL and dashboarding
SQL Server or Oracle Database administration
Red Hat and Windows server administration

Shift/Hours: 1st Shift, 7-4pm

Colorado Salary Maximum: $214,900
