Your Opportunity

Glumac is seeking a Project Coordinator for our Commissioning Team.


The Project Coordinator supports the Project Manager in day-to-day non-technical and semi-technical project functions, including tasks related to project scope, budget, schedule, and the coordination of team members and sub-consultants. This position requires an understanding and proficiency in project management process and terminology, as well as engineering and construction methodology, and client relationship management. This position will primarily be supporting the Commissioning department of the Building Science Group at Glumac.


The Glumac Commissioning Team is a dedicated team of professionals focused exclusively on providing the highest quality commissioning services. Currently, we have 24 full-time commissioning staff working on world-class projects including LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Cx, Title 24 Cx, retro-commissioning, energy studies, measurement and verification, ongoing commissioning, etc. We work with our clients from design to move-in and beyond, bringing together the owner, design team, contractors, and building operators to support and achieve the project goals.


We have one of the largest and most experienced commissioning teams on the West Coast and provide commissioning services nationally and internationally with a focus on green buildings, the environment, and sustainability.


This position is open to various office locations as well as remote work.


Your Impact

This role will:

  • This position will provide project administrative support for the project managers.
  • Takes initiative in aiding with project functions.
  • Ensures confidentiality in sensitive business matters and financial information.
  • Acts as secondary point of contact for the client and team members.
  • Supports maintaining project schedule.
  • Supports the project manager in performing change, risk, and contract management procedures.
  • May attend internal and external project meetings to take notes, record action items, follow up with internal team on action items.
  • Supports the project managers with subconsultant management
  • Supports managing project costs, budgets, and resources.
  • Supports the project manager in billings, invoice backup reports, schedules of values, in conjunction with project accountant.
  • Supports project manager in planning labor for projects.
  • Supports the project manager in reviewing their project financial information.
  • Aids in capturing expenses using Chrome River.
  • Manages the coordination, on time delivery, and quality of Commissioning deliverables.
  • Helps with final QA/QC coordination of all such documentation at project milestones.

What You Bring – Qualifications

  • 5+ years plus experience preferred.
  • Understanding of MEP commissioning, construction contracting or engineering, project management processes and terminology, and construction methodology. Individual needs to have design/construction experience and needs to understand the design and construction processes.
  • Able to motivate team members to ensure project success.
  • Individual needs to have experience in MS Teams and MS OneNote.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, and strong attention to detail.
  • Person must be detail-oriented and must be computer systems savvy.
  • Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks, competing priorities, and changing work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
