CNC Operator/Machinist

We’re looking for an entry to mid-level CNC operator to build and operate in a fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing environment. The CNC operator would be responsible to work with senior-level machinists and CAM programmers to develop higher-level skills at a machine level, this would include understanding basic machine and controller operation.

About You:

• Basic understanding of GD&T
• Experience using common measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, etc.
• Willingness to perform quality checks and inspections on outbound orders
• Desire to be trained and learn CNC machine operations and CAM programming

About the Role:

• This role is responsible for daily maintenance and factory operations, as well as working alongside experienced machinists and programmers to build the skills for advancement.
• This role is an opportunity to start a career and build skills in the machining industry.
• Focus on uptime, operation, and troubleshooting of manufacturing process.
• Above and beyond that, the CNC operator would be responsible for setting up jobs on the machines. This would include leveraging setup sheets to get the correct material, work holding, and tooling necessary to prepare a machine for a job, placing the work holding and material in machine for upcoming job, and if quantities exceed one unit, to continue feeding the machine with stock and removing finished goods until the job is complete.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37,500.00 - $52,000.00 per year
