**All clinical positions are located onsite in our offices in Columbus**

The Clinical Team Lead is responsible for working in partnership with the POD Management Team and clinical staff in the assigned POD(s) to ensure consistency of clinical activities within Quantum Health’s clinical program. This position will also serve as a coach and role model to promote Quantum Health’s mission and core values.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical Pod support to include: triage PSR (Patient Service Representative) questions and provide clinical guidance as indicated, triage clinical questions and resolve/delegate appropriately, be available as clinical resource/support for Pod Manager, Assistant Pod Manager, PSR Team Lead, and Pod clinical staff.
  • Communicates and collaborates with the clinical team/Pod management team within the Pod to assist member/provider in the care coordination process.
  • Provides ongoing coaching, education and mentorship for Pod clinical staff. Assists with training/mentoring of new clinical staff within the Pod.
  • In conjunction with Technical Operations and other clinical team members, responsible for monitoring and adjusting daily clinical work load within the Pod.
  • Leads clinical huddles for collaboration of workload and case discussions.
  • Works with the Pod manager in communicating client/benefit changes that affect the clinical role or function within the Pod.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of all clinical workflows and policies.
  • Provides clinical updates and education during Pod meetings
  • Support the Pod manager in assuring smooth integration of clinical functions within the Pod.
  • Assists with evaluation/monitoring of clinical pod members
  • Other duties as assigned by the Pod Manager/Clinical Management

Skills and Qualifications


  • Active license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio
  • 5 years clinical experience with direct patient care preferred
  • 1 year experience in a clinical position within Quantum Health preferred
  • Experience in care management/coordination programs and services
  • Experience in mentoring and/or coaching in a clinical setting
  • Diverse knowledge base of role and function of all nursing functions within the Pod
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with members and providers in implementing clinical services program functions
  • Ability to make decisions that are timely and well thought out that achieve results consistent with business goals and organizational culture
  • Ability to work independently and self-directed with limited need for day to day supervision
  • Possess excellent time management skills
  • Ability to function in a team environment that requires effective collaboration, role blending & direct communication
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft office suite software
  • Certification in case management preferred or ability to achieve within 1 year of acceptance of position
