Job Title:Clinical COVID 19 Response Coordinator - PT

Job Summary:To utilize clinical knowledge, working with the Telehealth department in a remote setting, to screen persons for symptoms of COVID 19 working shifts to cover 24/7 hotline.

Education & Experience

Graduate from an accredited health care program or eligibility for licensure by the MS State Board of Medical Licensure or MS Board of Nursing. One year of related experience (MD, DO, NP, RN, LPN, PA). Phone triage or telehealth experience preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED :

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Knowledge of medical care procedures and protocols; excellent verbal communication skills; knowledge and understanding of computer systems; ability to work in a team environment; ability to work a varied schedule and have access to a personal phone (land line or cell phone), personal computer (laptop or desktop), reliable Internet connection

Responsibilities :

  • Staff a phone line for callers with concerns regarding COVID-19 exposure and symptoms.
  • Provide referral recommendations for testing and/or medical treatment.
  • Maintain complete and accurate record of calls.

Physical and Environmental Demands
Requires occasional working hours significantly beyond regularly scheduled hours, frequent activities subject to significant volume changes of a seasonal/clinical nature, constant sitting, occasional standing, and occasional walking. (occasional-up to 20%, frequent-from 21% to 50%, constant-51% or more)
