Overview:
The Client Service Representative for Personal Insurance and Investments will report to the Personal Markets Team Lead. Considered a customer facing service role, the Client Service Representative has the primary responsibility for supporting the Personal Markets team with proactively managing the customer service timeline. Position requires extensive contact with clients through proactive outreach, post meeting follow-up and providing fanatical attention to service, consistency & detail.
To be successful in this role, you need to be able to quickly identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Ability to navigate complex systems allowing you to balance multiple priorities on behalf of the team. Anticipate client needs and potential hurdles with a solution focused mindset. Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

Responsibilities:
  • Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.
  • Resolve customers' service or billing complaints by performing activities such as calling carriers and checking to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems.
  • Complete contract forms, prepare change of address records, or issue service discontinuance, using computers.
  • Confer with customers by telephone or in person to provide information about products or services, take or enter orders, cancel accounts, or obtain details of complaints.
  • Proactively manage the Personal Markets Team Marketing Initiatives.
  • Ensure marketing and communications are coordinated, including the development and distribution of all marketing collateral.
  • Adhere to all corporate compliance and regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Represent JA Counter, Alera Group in the highest regard internally and externally.
  • Provide back-up to the front desk receptionist when necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Must have or obtain WI & MN Life and Health License within 90 days of employment.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience and a demonstrated track record of accomplishments.
  • Demonstrated success in client service.
  • Excellent computer skills including all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) required. Experience with CRM systems.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, good judgement, and be capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Proven technical skills as it relates to building and managing a marketing plan.
