CLEANING TEAM MEMBER SUPERVISOR

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION

Directly supervise and provide necessary assistance to all Team Members and new Cleaning Team Member Trainees. Effectively coordinate work activities of personnel for scheduled daily jobs and shifts. Provide thorough training to new Cleaning Team Member Trainees on cleaning techniques and procedures using Blue Peacock Services products and equipment. You will work out of the Junction City KS. Location, with travel mileage paid to all other locations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Report to office at least 10 minutes prior to shift for Daily Management Huddle. Must be on time and in full clean and pressed uniform.
  • Work with new team members to train them in the office and out in the field in clients homes following Blue Peacock Services standards and procedures.
  • Review and present the training and safety guidelines.
  • Demonstrate and train the proper cleaning procedures to each Trainee on-the-job.
  • Ensure all cleaning products and equipment used are company issued and approved.
  • Perform complete inspections of each job.
  • Follow Blue Peacock Services training program and update Office Manager on team member issues daily.
  • Conduct daily vacuum maintenance inspections and inspect all other company issued equipment and supplies
  • Complete and review a Daily Close-Out Report at the end of each day with the Manager
  • Call clients for feedback or quality checks to make sure Cleaning Team Members are following procedures in their homes.
  • Perform ride-along or inspections as assigned by the Office manager or Owner.
  • Assist Manager with the Team Member Evaluations.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Help maintain a clean and organized appearance of the office and all company equipment
  • Assist in office management as needed.
  • Assist Manager with the laundering and preparation of cleaning cloths and with vacuum/equipment maintenance as needed.
  • At ALL times contribute to a positive work environment and to the overall energy of the Team and of the Company.
  • Shall perform other reasonable, related duties as assigned
  • Train with Manager, Owner for first 3 weeks and report for additional training as needed.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Speaking and hearing English
  • Reading English on an average adult level
  • Writing English

SPECIAL JOB POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to drive personally owned vehicle to several work site locations throughout the area.
  • Ability to come in regular physical contact with dog and cat hair, dust, mold, mildew, and cleaning products.
  • Lift 20 pounds; 50-75 pounds as team lift.
  • Withstand bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs.
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
  • Must display a high level of integrity.
  • Use effective decision making.
  • Must have the ability to work as part of team, as well as LEAD the team.
  • Customer Service and Hospitality skills are a must.
  • Must have some relevant experience in cleaning and supervision of cleaning and cleaning procedures.
