Role and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of process engineers and technicians who are involved in the wafer fabrication process. Schedules resources, develops staff, tracks metrics, and prepares reports and presentations regarding progress toward production goals. Ensures safety, quality, and productivity of staff.
  • Cleans Process supervisor is responsible for all Process activity on shift - This includes Capa readiness, Improving hold to release time, Improving Foundry readiness, setting shift process priorities, coordinating and communicating with Leadership on equipment status and progress to plan.
  • Enforces safety procedures and protocol.
  • The key focus areas for supervisors are around staff development, generating ideas and implementing plans to develop and improve department metrics.
  • Coordinates activities on the floor or area to meet or exceed established goals related to turnaround time (TAT), Defect classification accuracy.
  • Reads and analyzes charts, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and evaluate outputs.
  • Monitors performance metrics, identifies positive and negative fluctuations, and escalates to appropriate parties if deviations occur.
  • Utilizes fab-specific software in the promotion, development, and monitoring of automated systems.
  • Work with other team members to develop consistent protocols across all shifts.
  • Communicates priorities to Process team and other groups.
  • Confers with other supervisors and managers to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
  • Works with manager to develop team and systems.
  • Cleans Process supervisors are the front line support for Process Technicians through training, mentoring, coaching, shift staffing and problem resolution.
  • Demonstrates process operations and work procedures to new employees, or assigns experienced employees to train.
  • Consults with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances.
  • Provides continual performance and development feedback to employees
  • Escalates issues to appropriate parties.
  • Demonstrates ability to analyze situations and make recommendations for solutions.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.
  • Do cument and communicate all process activities for the shift.
  • Work days and hours: 2nd Shift, CWW, A shift, 13:00 - 01:00.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 4 year college degree or technical degree (bachelor’s degree or equivalent related Military experience) Strongly preferred.
  • 2-5 years of related experience.
  • Cleans Semiconductor or high volume manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to procedure changes also required.
  • Must have strong communication, teamwork, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Focused on continuous improvement in fast-paced, changing environment.
  • High level of initiative and desire to learn.
  • Familiar with TPM concepts.
  • Highly capable in MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Successful candidates will be detail and task oriented and place high value on customer service, team work and flexibility.
  • Ability to meet due dates for action items.
  • Successful candidates will strictly adhere to SOPs.
  • Good Written and Oral Communication Skills.
  • Must be punctual.
