This position is responsible for the service, maintenance, repair and installation of pre-engineered fire suppression systems.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform inspections, service, install and sales on a variety of fire protection equipment including pre-engineered fire suppression systems, portable fire extinguishers and Emergency/Exit lighting and additional fire protection / life safety equipment as skills develop. Previous experience in pre-engineered fire systems is a plus.
  • Seek out additional sales and service opportunities within existing customer locations, and advise the customer of compliance needs
  • Develop long-term relationships with customers and maintain customer retention.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or delegated

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Advanced technical school training or related work experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record required
  • Must be able to pass a drug test
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools, including electric and battery-powered equipment
  • Proficient in basic computer skills
  • Proactive approach and attitude towards work
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be able to lift 10-50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • May be exposed to temperature changes, small spaces, and confined spaces
