Job Description
Class A Drivers run dedicated account with average annual pay of $75-$90/Yr (depending on experience as starting pay is $.50-$.60CPM. Drivers who run hard will average over 3000 miles per week while those that like truck stops more than money will be closer to 2200. But the average is 2200-3200 across the entire fleet. This is dry van freight delivering to one of the largest office supplies stores in the world
Drivers also average 6-15 stops per week and make $12/Stop (earning driver $72-$180/wk in stop pay. . Driver may occasionally have to use the pallet jack to help store manager, but manager will use pallet jack over 80% of the time. Regardless of who uses the pallet jack driver is paid for stop.
The average weekly pay is $1495-$1920/WK
Will take auto restriction. Drivers run 2 weeks and are home for 2-3 days.
Hiring drivers from I-35 and east in the following states (in TX only hiring within 50 miles of Dallas or within 50 miles of Houston. In OK driver MUST live east of I-35. Other states that hiring in are AL, FL (except in the Keys), IA, IL, IN MN, WI, MI, KS, KY, GA, MN, MO, OH, TN, and within 50 miles of Dallas and 50 miles of TX)
Freight hook and go at DC and is live unload at customer. Freight is stacked within the truck in special containers so that we have had less than 1% product spill over the last year.
Drivers run 2 weeks and are home 2 weeks and then get 48 hours at home. Will accept auto restriction but have manuals available for those that want it.
Requirements
Must have six months of verifiable Class A experience in the last 3 years
No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years and cannot have more than 2 in a 12 months period
No more than 2 DOT Preventable accidents in the last three years but may NOT have rollover, jack-knife or rear end in last three years. May not have with a serious moving violation such as leaving the scene or committing a felony
