Network Infrastructure, includes IP Routing, Optical Networks and Fixed Networks, as well as Alcatel Submarine Networks business, currently reported under “Group Common.” This business group will respond to the ever-increasing demand for higher capacity, greater reliability, faster speeds and lower costs.

Job Position Description:
The Network Infrastructure group is looking for a highly skilled Circuit Designer to join the team.
Job Responsibilities & Competencies
- As a key member of the hardware design team, responsibilities include full stream hardware design from architecture through introduction to manufacture in a fast paced, cost focused development environment.
- Design experience with 10/100/1000/10000 Mb/s Ethernet, T1/E1 interfaces, 1588, network processors and microprocessor design is required.
- Proven ability to work independently, as part of a design team or as a design team lead. Strong teamwork skills are a must.
- The candidate shall be flexible and adaptable to the challenges of a fast paced development environment.
- Ability to work with outside vendors and remote teams is critical.
Required Minimum Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)
- BS/MS EE required. 5+ years experience in hardware development
Desired Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)
- Telecom experience as well as experience with DX Designer/Allegro backend design flow is preferred.
- The candidate shall be flexible and adaptable to the challenges of a fast paced development environment.
