Responsibilities: Responsibilities
- Provides day to day supervision.
- Functions as general and technical supervisor as listed in CAP, CLIA, and NJDOHSS Regulations.
- The supervisor may also perform the duties of a technologist as workload requires.
- Blood Bank experience require to maintain an efficient transfusion medicine department.
- Progressive Management Experience. Knowledge of hospital laboratory practices, including infection control requirements, chemical and biological hazards.
- Knowledge of governmental and regulating policies and standards.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
- ASCP Certification Required
- 3 years of Blood Bank experience including supervisory experience required
