Job Description
The Child Development Assistant carries out a daily schedule of activities for an assigned group of children. Maintains a safe and orderly environment; communicates children's activities and behavior to parents as appropriate.
PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. *Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values.
2. *Provides for the basic care of assigned children.
3. *Maintains a safe and orderly environment for children; obtains educational materials required to implement the daily activity.
4. *Observes and relays significant individual and group behavior to appropriate personnel.
5. *Communicates the daily activities of children to parents.
6. *Conducts daily activities for children as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalency preferred. Any combination of training and experience that will allow the incumbent to perform stated work requirements.
Incumbent must be 19 years of age or older.
OTHER CREDENTIALS / CERTIFICATIONS:
Basic Life Support (CPR) certification preferred.
Location: Bryan Health · Child Development Center
Schedule: PRN (hours as needed), Day shift
