POSITION OVERVIEW

The Chief Development Tester will work with other systems engineers, program managers, and technical subject matter experts to plan, execute technology demonstrations, system development testing, operational testing, operational assessment, and other T&E related activities, as well as data analysis and reporting of test and evaluation event

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

• Ensures oversight for all aspects of Test and Evaluation for NRG program deliverables;
• Has overall authority for all procedures and processes related to ensuring the program’s requirements are properly scheduled and effectively evaluated in accordance with the NRG Test Strategy and the NSG Test and Evaluation Master Plan;
• Coordinates across the NRG organizations, as well as across the organizations of the NSG;
• Reduces enterprise risk through early Integration Testing and structured regression testing leading to Independent Verification and Validation prior to operational release.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrated experience and success in both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies to include transitioning software development functionality from development stage into operational stage;
• Demonstrated experience with geospatial missions, capabilities, and supporting systems development;
• Ability to work with multiple program elements and harmonize their integration test activities, reduce risk, and effectively schedule test events.

Qualifications include:

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master Degree desired

Experience

• 15 years of experience with Bachelors or
• 10 years of experience with a Masters

Specialized Knowledge/Skills Requirements

• Knowledge and understanding of Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) collection, exploitation and systems
• Strong Jira/Confluence competencies
