Job Summary

  • Coordinate and monitor all Change-to-Win and Continuous Improvement activities, including owning the Change-to-Win and CI processes throughout the site.

  • Lead and communicate with all stakeholders’ cross-functionally in resourcing, executing, project management, performance reporting and decision-making process.

  • Lead and train site on all existing and new CI methodologies and best practices.

  • As a core member of the Operational Excellence team, this person will drive OpEx deployment at the plant.

  • This individual should be a strong team player with highly developed communication and presentation skills.

  • This position reports to the plant manager with dotted collaborating with the GBU/Region OpEx Lead.

Essential Functions

  • Drive OpEx program deployment at the site

  • Work closely with the site management to assist the site in their continuous improvement journey

  • Develop a site level OpEx deployment plan including EMS (Enterprise Management System) strategies, Change to Win, Certification Programs, Best Practices Sharing, and others.

  • Assists leadership in establishing baseline and target metrics for key processes.

  • Work with site leadership in installing organizational supports for Operational Excellence (reviews, communications, rewards, etc.)

  • Coach and mentor site Black Belt and Green Belt candidates to ensure accurate completion of their quality and/or cost focused projects- ultimately leading to the candidate’s certification.

  • Must be well versed in Continuous improvement disciplines

  • Competence in lean manufacturing/six sigma methodologies

  • Complete knowledge of End-to-End Operations.

  • Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business processes, QMS, etc.

  • Knowledge of GMPs, FDA guidelines, purchasing practices and process validation.

  • Must be self-motivated, have good interpersonal skills,

  • Capable of analyzing and solving complex problems through innovative thought and experience.

  • Ability to design and implement in own area of expertise.

  • Be involved in at least one industry interest group

  • Has demonstrated effective supervisory skills.

  • Master Blackbelt certification

Qualifications and Requirements

Education

  • Required: B.S. Degree in Engineering Sciences or Industrial Technology, or significant related experience.

  • Master’s degree preferred.

Bilingual Spanish English required

Experience:

  • 10 – 12 years of CI an Opex Eng. experience.
