Responsible for direct, individualized, goal directed, and effective patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. Care is provided as outlined in the Nursing Care Plan in accordance with Standards of Practice and Baptist Health policies and procedures; including administration of medications and reporting of patient symptoms and conditions to the Registered Nurse. This position is also responsible for the provision of quality patient care within the framework of the mission, vision, and values of Baptist Health.

Qualifications

• Position requires successful passage of LPN examination and current Alabama LPN licensure. BCLS required. Additional specialty certification per P and P for assigned unit (PALS, ACLS, etc.).Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Ability to foster a cooperative work environment. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.Licensed Practical Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)); Basic Life Support (BLS)
