Job Description

The Job:

Perform diagnostic procedures as required by cardiac cath lab requirements. Administrative duties as assigned and additional responsibilities as assigned.

Work Schedule: Full Time

Location: Community Hospital

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for making sure equipment is operational prior to performing patient procedures.
  • Responsible for cleaning and stocking rooms after every exam.
  • Assists physician with imaging during diagnosis and treatment of cardiac cath lab patients of diverse ages.
  • Operate cardiac catheterization equipment to include but not limited to: IVUS, Angiojet, Cutting Balloon, IABP, Rotoblater, lmpella, Pericardiocentesis, Permanent Pacemaker, ICD, CRT and CRT-D.
  • Demonstrates extensive knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
  • Demonstrate in-depth understanding of all supplies used to be able to anticipate physician needs during procedure.


Requirements:

  • Associates Degree
  • A least two (2) years of experience in Cardiology/Catheterization Lab.
  • Registered ARRT Certification
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist RCIS, preferred or required within 12 months of hire.
  • Current BLS and ALS

This position's pay range is: $30.83 – 43.16 per hour, depending on education and experience.

Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increases, market adjustments, recognition bonuses and other forms of discretionary compensation may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
