Job Description

Duties:


Provides high-quality/professional assistance to members on a range of topics (e.g., account deposits/withdrawals/fees; navigating our website, online banking & bill pay; discussing product and service offerings; opening new accounts).

Research member inquiries, document findings and provide superior communication and follow up to member within established timeframe (typically by end of day or within 24 hours). Escalate issues when appropriate in order to achieve member satisfaction goals;

Process loan payments for members via telephone (average 70 calls per day after 90 day introductory period);

Cross-sells RFCU products and services to members over the telephone;

Strives to resolve member problems.

Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to adjust to change.

Requirements:


Equivalent to a High School diploma. Knowledge of Credit Union products/services preferred. Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel) and Paydirect. Familiarity with ACH forms. Ability to read and understand loan histories, deposit account histories, and perform fund transfers. Ability to communicate effectively with members and staff at all levels within the organization; Ability to perform work with accuracy and attention to detail; Willingness to sell Credit Union Services; Ability to proficiently operate a PC, computer keyboard terminal and adding machine. Ability to manage multiple tasks. Ability to navigate web site, online banking site and bill pay site.
