Job Description

BRUSH CADMIUM PLATER

CAVU Component Repair (CCR) – Mesa AZ

CAVU Component Repair is an FAA approved 145 Repair Station, seeking a motivated individual to work our Cad Plating shop. Experience in the plating field is definitely a prerequisite as you will be working independently, and will be responsible for the operation of the Cad Plating shop.

CAVU Component Repair offers a condensed work week with our hours of operation being dayshift only M-Th, 6am-4:30pm. You may be asked to work overtime and some Fridays order to meet deadlines, so the applicant should keep that in mind. CAVU Component Repair is a drug-free employer, and you must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen as well as random drug screens during your employment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Keeping up with a daily “tasks” of jobs for which you are responsible
  • Hitting completion deadlines set by the management team based on customer needs
  • Ensure all maintenance documentation is complete and correct
  • Must display exceptional attention to detail as well as solid organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised once you have received proper training

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Strong background in plating procedures in the aircraft industry
  • Prior experience in a Repair Station environment is a plus but not required
  • Experience with aircraft and component maintenance manuals as well as aircraft drawings is preferred.
  • Familiarization and use of precision measuring instruments
  • Basic knowledge of math and chemistry as it applies to the plating field

Salary start is $14.00 to $20.00 depending on experience.
